343 Guilty Spark, also known by the alias The Oracle, is a recurring character in the series. Designed by the Ancients to monitor Installation 04, he later defects to help Master Chief defeat Ronald McDonald. Guilty Spark is eventually disabled by Ronald and is blown up when the Halo self-destructs.

343 Guilty Spark appears when
Master Chief and the Arbiter attempt to sneak onboard a ship to take to the Halo ring being built by the Ancients. Guilty Spark explains that he can help reunite the four time-displaced heroes.
