Having received many requests on how he makes his videos, Master Chief tells viewers about how to use Movie Maker to create videos. Master Chief is confronted by CATS and Hubbard, who tell him they have a secret leader.
Master Chief Sucks at Ordering was originally conceived as a trilogy; this can be seen in the video descriptions of the first three episodes. Three standalone sequels were produced; it was not until "Master Chief Sucks at Making Videos" that all the episode plotlines were merged into one series. At this point, the first ten episodes were officially declared season 1, and that a second and third season would be produced. The plotline was never intended to make sense; the idea of a "Cerebus retcon," or more dramatic explanation for comedic events earlier in the series, formed the backbone of season 2. Season 1 has lower production values than the rest of the series. This is evidenced by the usage of Windows Movie Maker, low quality recorded sound, and still images for fight scenes.
